Desired experience and requirements:

A relevant nursing qualification.

Recent experience as a Unit Manager/Shift leader.

Experience working in the General Wards.

Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislations.

Computer Literacy.

Knowledge on Kronos will be beneficial.

Flexible in working hours/Shifts.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Ensure that your unit is providing safe, cost-effective quality patient care in line with the clinical governance strategy of Lenmed / hospital and evidence-based practice.

Evaluate the patient’s journey via patient experience and stakeholder contribution.

Evaluate and monitor nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes.

Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care.

Promote health and wellbeing of patients and employees.

Ensure the principles of infection prevention and all international standard precautions are adhered to.

Implement group quality initiatives.

Liaise with public liability regarding all incidents of potential risk to the business.

Theatre Trained Registered Nurse: Kimberley Northern Cape

Desired experience and requirements:

Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse

Theatre Trained qualification.

Theatre experience.

Advanced Computer Literacy

Flexible in working shifts (as and when required)

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities

In conjunction with the Unit manager be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of theatre teams, effectively motivating, and directing staff to ensure that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork

To stand-in for the Unit manager when necessary

To assist the Unit Manager in the management of staff within their Unit including specific induction, recruitment and selection, training, performance management, sickness/ absence and appraisals.

Trauma Trained Registered Nurse: Kimberley Northern Cape

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (Plus Pension, Medical and 13th Cheque)

Desired experience and qualifications:

Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse

Compulsory BLS Certification

Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a Trauma Nurse

Advanced Computer Literacy

Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation

Flexible in working shifts (as and when required)

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities

In conjunction with the Unit manager be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of theatre teams, effectively motivating, and directing staff to ensure that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork

To deputize for the Unit manager when necessary

To assist the Unit Manager in the management of staff within their Unit including specific induction, recruitment and selection, training, performance management, sickness/ absence and appraisals.

Advanced Computer Literacy

Willing to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the unit.
