Architectural Technologist

What the job involves

• Prepare architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Develop and amend building plans in accordance with client requirements and municipal regulations.
• Submit plans and liaise with local authorities for approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals.
• Ensure compliance with building standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist with project planning, design development, and documentation.

Minimum requirements

• Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• SACAP registration (Professional Architectural Technologist or Professional Senior Architectural Technologist preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of South African building regulations and municipal approval processes.
• Strong technical drawing and design skills.
