Salary: Will be determined by experience, plus company contribution to medical aid and pension fund.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Matric
- BSc/BSc Honours in Property Studies, BCom Accounting, or a related qualification
- FFC Certificate
- Professional Designation Exam (EAAB) will be advantageous
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Property Management role
- Student accommodation experience will be advantageous
- Excellent financial, budgeting, and reporting skills
- Sound knowledge of property management principles and practices
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Manage and lead on-site property staff and daily operations
- Drive leasing activities, renewals, occupancy targets, and vacancy management
- Build and maintain positive tenant relationships and resolve escalated issues
- Oversee property maintenance, inspections, and capital expenditure projects
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, reporting, and expenditure control
- Manage arrears, debt recovery processes, and legal handovers
- Prepare and present monthly management reports to clients
- Ensure compliance with management contracts, company policies, and procedures
- Coordinate with service providers, finance teams, universities, and other stakeholders
- Support and oversee student accommodation operations and resident services
