The salary will be determined by die working experience, up to R50 000 gross pm, plus
company contribution to Provident fund.
Desired experience and qualifications:
Grade 12
Qualified Artisan.
One year of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment with specific experience managing the maintenance department.
Must be computer literate.
Strong administrative skills.
Self-initiative, self-confident and firm personality.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent planning, organising and time-management skills.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Assist with planning, ordering, loss control, staffing issues, and industrial relations.
Supervision of maintenance staff on a daily basis and the quality control of all work.
Planning for and allocation of maintenance related work.
Ensuring that maintenance staff are adequately trained and informed of changes in work-related legislation.
Planning and coordination of projects.
General staff morale and discipline.
Formulation of rosters and controlling staff timekeeping.
Accurate record keeping.
