Salary:
R8 000 – R9 000 gross pm, depending on experience.
Plus 5% company contribution to pension fund.
Minus 7.5% employee contribution to pension fund.
Working hours:
07h30 – 17h30 Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch per day.
Overtime might be required from time to time.
Annual Leave:
15 work days per annum, 10 days compulsory leave during Christmas time.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Handling cash and card transactions at a quick pace and under extreme pressure.
- Assisting customers and fellow colleagues with sales.
- Maintaining accurate cash control procedures.
Desired experience and requirements:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years’ cashier experience
- Good numerical and computer skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service driven and able to work under extreme pressure
- Fluently in English and Afrikaans
- Able to stand for long hours and able to move easily.
