Position Overview:

We are a reputable leader in the automotive refinishing industry, providing high-quality paint solutions to a broad client base. As part of our commitment to service excellence and product performance, we are seeking a skilled and dynamic Automotive Paint Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support, training, and product demonstrations to our clients, ensuring optimal application and usage of our product range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients using our paint products.
• Conduct training sessions on the correct usage, mixing, application, and curing processes of automotive paint systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve paint-related issues (e.g., colour matching, surface defects, application techniques).
• Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Assist with product launches, workshops, and demos at client locations or company events.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Liaise with internal technical teams and our sales representatives to stay updated on new products and innovations.
• Maintain detailed reports and feedback logs for each client visit.
• Adhere to all other tasks given through by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical Qualification in Automotive Spray Painting
• Previous experience in a technical sales support or training role. (Will be beneficial)
• Proven experience (minimum 3–5 years) as an Automotive Paint Technician, Painter, or similar role in the refinish industry.
• Expertise in Automotive paint systems is essential
• Strong knowledge of automotive paint processes, surface preparation, mixing, colour matching, and spray equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct training and demonstrations to groups and individuals.
• Fluent in English & Afrikaans (Speak, Read and Write)
• Comfortable with frequent traveling on a weekly basis.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• Well-organized, proactive, and client-focused.

Our client in the Automotive Paint industry is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join their team as a Training Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site training, demonstrations, and technical support to clients on a range of paint-related consumables, including abrasives, masking materials, sealants, applicators, and related products. The focus is on enhancing product knowledge, application techniques, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical training and product demonstrations to clients
• Provide on-site and remote support to ensure proper usage of consumables
• Assist customers with troubleshooting product application issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of paint systems and supporting consumables
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
• Collaborate with the sales team to grow product usage and awareness
• Provide feedback to product teams based on customer experience and challenges
• Keep accurate records of visits, training sessions, and customer feedback
• Attend trade shows, expos, or industry events when needed
• Adhere to all other tasks given through by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical qualification in Automotive Spray Painting or related field is an advantage
• 3+ years’ experience in the automotive paint or panel beating industry
• Strong technical knowledge of paint processes and related consumables
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Confidence in leading training sessions for groups or one-on-one
• Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle
• Fluent in English & Afrikaans, a third language will be beneficial (Speak, Read and Write)
• Willingness to travel extensively
