Salary:
- R30 000 – R48 000 Gross per month (Depending on experience)

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Must be able to interpret technical drawings, identify design flaws, and recommend modifications and improvements to the Factory Manager.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing employees in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in various welding techniques and jig manufacturing.
- Advanced skills in:
- Die and toolmaking
- Welding
- Agricultural implement/equipment design
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Spray painting
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken, written, and read).
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of approximately 22 employees, including boilermakers, assistants, and painters.
- Plan, coordinate, and delegate daily workflow to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Interpret technical drawings, identify design improvements, and provide recommendations to the Factory Manager.
- Diagnose faults on agricultural equipment and plan maintenance, repairs, and breakdown activities.
- Ensure artisans have the correct job specifications, technical information, tools, and materials to complete their work efficiently.
- Provide technical guidance and support to boilermakers and production staff.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of quality workmanship, productivity, and adherence to project deadlines.
- Ensure all required parts and materials are sourced and available within the required timeframes.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure compliance with company standards.
