Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification
  • RE5 certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of Short-Term Insurance experience (will be beneficial)
  • Computer literate
  • Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle (will be beneficial)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete and follow through with amendments to client policies
  • Evaluate cover to avoid under-insurance
  • Advise on claims under what section covered on policies
  • Involvement with claims intermediary service
  • Manage unpaid premiums
  • Evaluate rates online-items and negotiate premiums
  • Policy renewals
  • Completeness and accuracy of Record-of-Advice
  • Fit & Proper-, FAIS, FICA, and Code of Conduct compliant
  • Prepare new business quotes
  • Negotiating renewal terms and preparing the renewal documentation
  • Client liaison
