Sales Executive: Africa

The candidate will be based in Kemptonpark and will manage a large African region

Location: Head office Pomona, Kempton Park and any other locations or destinations as determined by the employer

Sales experience within poultry and Livestock equipment (Non-Negotiable)


R18 000 – R45 000 Basic, depending on experience, Plus Commission from R15 000 to R40 000 +, Company Vehicle, Fuel card etc.; Provident fund (Compulsory)


Matric/Grade 12

Sales and Marketing qualification (Will be beneficial)

Experience working with Farmers will be beneficial, proven track record (Non-Negotiable)

Technically Inclined

Minimum 5 – 6 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing will be an advantage

Computer literacy in Windows and MS Word

Valid Passport

Valid Driver’s license (Code EB)

Must be willing to do extensive traveling and sleep out

Duties & responsibilities

Generate Sales Income.

Maintain existing clients and expand client base.

Regular sales visits to all customers and prospective customers.

Build relationships with both clients and suppliers.

Attend administrative tasks relating to the sales function including the accurate management and upkeep of the sales database and provision of regular sales / service visit and call reports.

Maintain and increase order intake and spares sales.

The preparation of comprehensive sales quotations for customers.

Ensure maximum stock availability through liaison with the operational departments.

Participate in local, regional or national trade shows as required. 

Maintain product and technical knowledge.
