Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversee 120 employees at manganese-sorting department, weighbridge, wash bay, plant cleaners, etc.
• Responsible for the overall Projects management.
• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• Compile monthly company operational reports
• Setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance.
• Company logistics management
• Manage and enforce implementation of work procedures and instructions
• Enforce company Safety policies and procedure
•  Develop and manage company budget.
• Tendering
• Cost Management
• Company assets management

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Competency A Certificate
• Legal Liability Certificate
• Minimum five to eight years of site manager experience, preferably in mining industry.
• Knowledge on disciplinary procedure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Be declared medically fit and meet the minimum standard of fitness to work in mining environment.
• Ability to process flow and risk assessment
• Knowledge on environmental management
• Sound knowledge of the MHSA and any other regulatory laws that might be applicable in executing Managerial functions
• Knowledge on tendering of projects
• Experience on operation cost management
• Knowledge on company assets management
• Good people management.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team of authorities.
• Excellent on presentations, reporting and writing.
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Sound technical knowledge of risk assessment.
