Our client, a well-established company in the software solutions sector, is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join their team.
Remuneration:
Competitive basic salary (based on experience)
Monthly commission: R200 – R4 000 pm
Car allowance included in gross salary
Business kilometres reimbursed (own vehicle to be used)
Petrol card and provident fund provided after the probation period
No sleep-outs
Desired experience and qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ Sales Rep / new business development experience.
Experience in business analysis within the software-solutions industry will be beneficial.
Must have proven experience / track record in negotiating and closing deals.
Ability to hunt for new business and source new leads (hunter) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Willing and able to work under targets.
Own reliable vehicle.
Efficient in Excel and other Microsoft products
Must be strong in admin & must be able to compile tenders
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Identify and target potential clients.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior level decision makers.
On-site client assessments and quotations.
Cold calling / canvassing on potential clients, and develop existing clients.
Gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s business.
Achieve sales targets.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Recommend and position software solutions that address these challenges and deliver measurable value.
Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process
Closing deals (80% of your time) but also some lead development and coaching of inside sales reps (20% of your time)
Continuously providing feedback from prospects to the marketing and product teams
