Salary: Will be determined by experience.
Purpose of the role:
Maintenance management of corporate buildings. All mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil aspects, including but not limited to budgeting.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities, Operations, or Property Management.
- Technical qualifications advantageous.
- Min 3 years’ experience in corporate building maintenance planning, scheduling, and financial administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant property management software.
- Willing to travel and sleep out.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct annual and bi-annual building audits, inspections, and tenders.
- Manage budgets, service contracts, and major capital expenses.
- Investigate new products and technologies to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Supervise onsite building staff and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Approve contractor work and invoices, and resolve tenant complaints.
- Compile accurate reports for senior management and attend portfolio meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement, and safety standards.
