Minimum requirements:
- Recent relevant experience
- Experience in WordPress (Elementor v3.29.1) and C-Panel
- Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Non-negotiable)
Duties & responsibilities:
- Basic web coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Maintain and update website content (WordPress + Elementor)
- Ensure site security, performance, backups, and plugin/theme updates
- Develop new website features and pages as needed
- Design visual content for web, print, and digital use (Canva/Adobe Suite)
- Record and edit video content for online platforms (e.g., green screen work)
- Collaborate with the communications team on content strategy and campaigns
- Compile, design, and send out a bi-weekly newsletter
- Maintain consistent branding across all materials and channels
- Manage website and social media content (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
- Support internal and external communications
- Highlight community stories and help promote a positive public image
- Adhere to all other tasks assigned by management
