Location: Projects within approx. 280 km of Wellington
Salary: R600,000 – R700,000 CTC per annum, depending on experience
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production manager or general foreman on civil construction projects
- Proven track record in managing construction teams for pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and standards (SANS 1200)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop junior staff
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB or higher)
- Must be able to relocate or live near Wellington (locations too far, e.g., Gordons Bay, are not suitable – approx. 76 km)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil construction production teams on water infrastructure projects, including dams, water pipelines, reservoirs, and related works
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and within budget
- Lead, mentor, and train emerging foremen and construction workers
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and labor teams to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Maintain knowledge and application of construction methods and standards (SANS 1200)
- Prepare and maintain records of site activities, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate effectively with site management and other technical staff
