Location: Projects within approx. 280 km of Wellington
Salary: R750,000 – R950,000 CTC per annum, depending on experience
Desired experience and qualifications:
- BEng / BSc / BTech / ND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Non-negotiable)
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing civil construction projects
- Registered with ECSA or SACPCMP (preferred)
- Proven track record in civil construction project management, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel to project sites
- Must attend in-person interview (if shortlisted/ invited) at own cost, no online interviews will be conducted
- Must live near Wellington or be willing to relocate, distant locations (e.g., Gordons Bay) are not suitable (approx. 76 km)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil construction projects focused on water infrastructure, including dams, water pipelines, reservoirs, and related works
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams
- Maintain strict adherence to construction methods and standards (SANS 1200 / GCC)
- Prepare and monitor project documentation, reports, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and ECSA or SACPCMP requirements (where applicable)
