Broker Sales Consultant: Garden Route (Southern Cape)

The main function will be to build your own insurance portfolio by canvassing new clients through networking, cold calling and door-to-door sales.

Remuneration:

First 4 Months Guaranteed Salary.

Retainer (Pension & Medical Aid included), plus Cell phone & Petrol Card.

As from month 2 a laptop and data will be provided.

Requirements:

Grade 12

60 FAIS credits/Full Insurance (Will be beneficial)

Preference will be given to candidates who completed their First Regulatory Exams (RE5)

Minimum of 2 Years Short Term External Sales experience

Minimum of 2 Years Commercial experience (Will be beneficial)

Own Reliable vehicle

Valid driver’s license

Duties & Responsibilities:

Providing solutions to clients by selling Short Term Insurance products aligned to the needs of the client.

Responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio.

Being able to prospect for new clients through networking by canvassing and doing door – door sales.

Client service and management

Ensure to build your own strong insurance portfolio.

Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client.

Drafting, tracking and measurement of your personal business plan.

Retention of existing business including renewal discussion in line with FAIS.

Working closely with internal stakeholders that is, underwriting/actuarial, claims as well as surveying.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Tertiary HR Qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years’ HR and administrative experience
  • Time and Attendance experience is essential
  • Systems and reporting experience are essential
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license (Compulsory)
  • PC Proficient including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Afrikaans and English
  • Preference will be given to candidates who speaks Xhosa

Labour Relations / Collective agreements Inspectorate Trainee Agent: Bellville, Western Cape

Salary: R15 600 gross pm, Med, Pens, 13th cheque

Purpose of the job:

Conducts inspections by visiting establishments to ensure that the collective agreement is maintained by the establishments in the assigned zones / areas.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12

Labour Related qualification

Min 2 years solid experience with Labour Relations

Knowledge of Bargaining Council Agreements

Car sales experience will be beneficial

Current valid driver’s license and have 2 years driving experience.

Duties will include:

Identifies, advises, and assists in correcting contraventions to the collective agreement.

Improve communication regarding aspects of the collective agreement to all the

establishments to promote healthy industrial relations within assigned zones / areas.

Ensure that the member’s general awareness of the collective agreements is increased

within assigned establishments / areas.

Enforcement of the collective agreement by way of prescribed legal processes.

Manages and schedules appointments with establishments in the assigned zones / areas.
