Junior Branch Manager: Port Elizabeth

Minimum Requirements:

Preference will be given to Equity EE/AA candidates

Minimum Matric, however, a degree or diploma in commerce or interior design will take preference.

3-5 years proven track record on management level.

Proven track record in sales.

Own transport and a valid driver’s license essential.

Industry (Furniture) knowledge

Duties & Responsibilities:

Staff:

Personnel management

Monitor & motivate staff performance on a regular basis to identify specific performance areas needing attention (in all departments)

Manage staff retention and ensure succession planning.

Ensure that the company’s disciplinary code is followed.

Enforcement of discipline in terms of the Labour Act.

Financial:

Asset Management of the branch – fixed assets, debtors, stock.

Effectively manage the branch expenses through cost effective measures.

Operational

Smooth and cost-effective logistics.

Establish realistic administrative processes to ensure operational efficiency and effective time management.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and specifically top end delivery and installations.

Health & safety officer and compliance to relevant legislation

General:

Drive company strategy and company core values.

Meet or exceed targets set for the branch.

Manage the risk of the branch

Remuneration:

R20 000 ctc pm (Inclusive Medical Aid & Pension)
