Manufacturing Factory Manager – Kokstad (KZN)

Minimum Requirements & Duties:

  • Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Factory Manager in the manufacturing or steel industry
  • Previous experience in staff management
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of supply processes, including machine shop operations, CNC plasma cutting, and bending/guillotine work
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking); proficiency in Xhosa or Zulu is an advantage
  • Management of approx. 30 staff
  • Willingness to perform any other tasks assigned by management
JNR Cattle/Farm Manager: Hartswater (Northern Cape)

Industry: Agri Cultural / FMCG

Our client is looking for a young vibrant and energetic, male or female to run the farm.

The main purpose of this position is to take responsibility for managing daily feedlot operations including livestock feeding programs and all aspects of the management of cattle.

Salary: R18 000 – R21 000 Gross

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.SC Agriculture or B Agriculture Degree
  • Experience in Cattle Farming and farm maintenance
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to motivate and work with staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Speak, Read and Write)
  • Valid driver’s license

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running and management of the cattle in your Section
  • Irrigation maintenance and management
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technical knowledge
  • Understand nutritional requirements for livestock
  • Receive, inspect and transfer livestock
  • Assist in accurate record keeping of livestock activities
  • Influence a positive workforce environment by following safety policies and modelling safe work practices
  • Follow health and safety standards
  • Perform any other task or duties delegated by the line management with the purpose of meeting the feedlot objectives.
